On Journalist’s Day, the presentation of the fifth issue of “War and Media” of the students’ project “Between the Text: Journalists for Journalists” took place at the Precarpathian National University.
The book contains 25 interviews with media specialists of Prykarpattia and Ukraine, which were recorded by 1st and 3rd-year students of the “Journalism” specialty of the Faculty of Philology of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
The publication is addressed to teachers, journalists, pupils, and students of educational institutions, as well as to all those interested in media. The author and organizer of the project is Halyna Prystai, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Journalism.
The professor of the Department of Journalism Hanna Marchuk is responsible for the release. The editors and proofreaders are Olha Babenko, a 3rd-year journalism student, and Tetiana Strutynska, a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Journalism.
The Rector of Precarpathian National University, Professor Ihor Tsependa, opened the presentation event with a welcome speech.
During the presentation, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Professor Roman Holod, and the Professor of the Department of Journalism, Hanna Marchuk, also spoke.
The members of the creative group shared their opinions, acquired experience, and expressed their gratitude to the university management and the dean’s office for their support in the implementation of the project.
